HR Officer / Executive

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic HR Officer/Executive to join our dynamic team at Eonmetall Group Bhd in Penang. In this full-time position, you will play a vital role in supporting the overall human resources functions within our organisation.

 

What you’ll be doing

  • Manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Administer employee benefits and leave entitlements
  • Assist in the recruitment and selection of new talent
  • Maintain accurate employee records and documentation
  • Provide administrative support to the HR team
  • Coordinate employee training and development initiatives
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee queries and concerns
  • Ensure compliance with relevant labour laws and HR policies
  • Any other tasks or responsibilities as assigned by management.

 

What we’re looking for

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a similar HR generalist role
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, labour laws, and payroll administration
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively

Warehouse Assistant Manager

About the role

As the Warehouse Assistant Manager at Eonmetall Group Bhd, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operations of our Penang-based distribution facility. This full-time role will involve overseeing day-to-day warehouse activities, managing a team of warehouse personnel, and driving continuous process improvements to enhance productivity and customer satisfaction.

 

What you’ll be doing

  • Lead warehouse operations: Oversee daily activities to ensure smooth material flow and accurate inventory control.
  • Implement best practices: Apply FIFO/FEFO principles and continuous improvement strategies to optimize performance.
  • Manage inventory: Conduct regular cycle counts and maintain accurate stock levels in SAP / WMS systems.
  • Collaborate across departments: Work closely with Production, Purchasing, and Planning teams to ensure timely material supply.
  • Develop your team: Coach and train warehouse staff, setting clear KPIs and fostering a culture of excellence.
  • Drive process improvements: Utilize Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and other operational excellence tools to enhance efficiency.
  • Experienced professional: Minimum 10 years in Warehouse, with at least 5 years in a manufacturing or EMS environment.
  • Strong leader: Ability to manage and motivate a team of warehouse supervisors, storekeepers, and material handlers.
  • System savvy: Proficiency in SAP / WMS systems (e.g., ERP, Oracle, or equivalent) for accurate inventory management.
  • Multilingual communicator: Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia required, with Mandarin as an advantage to facilitate effective communication across diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Process optimizer: Experience with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and other operational excellence tools to drive continuous improvement.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to lead and motivate a team
  • Familiarity with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations in the warehousing industry

About Us

Digital Marketing Executive

Responsibilities :

  • Manage all social media channels & campaign, and create content for scheduling social media posts.
  • Report directly to the Marketing Manager & coordinate with sales team, graphic designers to increase brand awareness.
  • Researches and analyses social media trends, including social media ads and web visitor data in order to improve social media presence and campaign efficacy.
  • Manage account and prepare budgets for proposed communication plans.
  • To control, monitor and ensure accuracy of marketing campaigns.
  • Prepare regular analysis of website/social media traffic data.
  • Assist in replying enquiries from all online channels, update all information regularly.

 

Requirements :

  • Diploma / Degree in Marketing, Business, Advertising/Media or equivalent.
  • Required languages): English, Mandarin, Malay.
  • Preferably 2 – 3 years of working experience in social media, digital marketing Knowledge on FB Marketing, Instagram Marketing, Google Analytics, Tik Tok, WeChat Marketing, XHS etc.
  • Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications.
  • Ability to handle and prioritise multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Experience in online marketing program development is an added advantage.

About Us

Assistant Logistics Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all shipping related matters, managing and supervising all aspects of the shipping process, including coordinating shipments, arranging shipments and ensuring timely delivery of goods to customers.
  • Manage import and export processes and ensure compliance with all required government policies and licensing regulations.
  • Coordinate with forwarder agents for shipment booking and preparation of shipping documents.
  • To apply and arrange endorsement for export shipping documents.
  • To act as key liaison and follow up with government authorities such as Custom, MIDA, MITI, SIRIM and consignee / forwarding freight agents on custom related matters.
  • Review monthly import and export reports, customs report and bi-monthly import exemption reports for customs, MITI and MIDA.

 

Requirements:

  • With minimum 3-5 years working experience in related field.
  • Strong in leadership and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage teams and delegate tasks effectively
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to optimize logistics operations
  • Familiarity with transportation logistics, customs clearance, and regulatory compliance
  • Adaptability and a proactive approach to continuous improvement
  • We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to better serve our Mandarin-speaking customers
